But we can help, PTC offers free and confidential services you can trust.

P.T.C. is a non-profit resource for women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Community services are offered to all people seeking this assistance without regard to religious affiliation, social status, race or gender. Pregnancy Testing Centers was founded in February of 1989 with one office in Harlingen for the purpose of reaching out to women facing an un-planned pregnancy, needing a helping hand during a time of need. Today, there are four centers strategically located throughout the Rio Grande Valley, in Pharr, Harlingen, Brownsville, and Weslaco.

Pregnancy Testing Centers of the Rio Grande Valley was founded in 1989 by Frank and Tere Painter. The first center opened in Harlingen in February of 1989, followed by McAllen in September of 1990, Brownsville in November 1991, and Weslaco in February 2001.

A Women's Resource : Free Pregnancy Test, Abortion Education, Supportive Guidance, Shelter Assistance, STD Education.

Open Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Hotline (800-303-4355) is open 24 hours a day. Centers operate on an appointment basis only, to protect client confidentiality.
